Abstract


The video compression coding in the embedded system has been widely used in many video encoding techniques , at the conditions of the same image quality of MPEG-4 , H.264 compression ratio is 1.5-2 times , only MPEG stream -4 50% , so the performance of H.264 with its highly efficient data compression ratio and high quality image to become the preferred standard for video encoding . This paper focuses on the H.264 encoder made ??the following work : 1. Based on open source X264 existing intra prediction mode and interframe optimized to achieve intra prediction mode by reducing the 4x4 sub-macroblock prediction mode optimization . Interframe prediction is mainly based on the motion of the image intensity to determine the macro blocks divided . VC under the intraframe and interframe prediction optimization were carried out the simulation test, the results showed that the optimal prediction time is reduced by about 1/2, PSNR decreased by less than 0.5dB . Analysis of several typical movement estimated the advantages and disadvantages of the search algorithm proposed diamond search algorithm based on a non- symmetrical cross-type - rhombus search algorithm ( CDSD ) , of , to overcome the paranoia of the center of the diamond search algorithm problems. Right the improved CDSD algorithm simulation tests , the test results show that the coding efficiency CDSD having diamond considerable . 3 the C64X DSP core based on TI's high-performance OMAP3530 , completed the X264 transplanted on DSP and xDAIS-xDM standard package , X264 C64X platform and optimization . DSP CCS development environment simulation test results show that H.264 encoder optimized CIF format sequence encoding , QP = 30 when the frame rate is about 11fps, the decoded image quality can basically maintain the original color , optimized H.264 encoder is effective .
