Eustoma grandiflorum with compact plant type, fresh color and elegant is emerging one of high-grade varieties of cut flowers the international flower market in recent years and makes the majority of consumers loved. It is suitable for cultivation in Tianjin because of its feature such as liking cool during the seedling and liking warm and sunshine-long during flowering. However, few studies on cultivation and preservation technology of Eustoma were done, which restricted severely industry of cut flowers development in Tianjin. Therefore, Eustoma Varieties screening, seedling substrate composition, seedling vernalization treatment, the application of preservative were carried and studied in this paper. The results are as follows after nearly 3 years cultivation tests in greenhouse:1. There are some suitable cut flower varieties in Tianjin greenhouse, for example Ke Luoma （lavender univalve）, Alina 3 （yellow petals）, Alina 4 （champagne petals）, Misaki （pink side univalve）.2. Seed vernalization treatment, which was in 7-10℃in the day and lasted 35 d, could inhibit the foliage and promote bolting. On this basis, the highest rate of bolting was found when night temperature was in 20-23℃.3. Good quality substrates with peat/vermiculite/perlite （1:3:1 by Vol.）, which could breed robust seedlings, was chosen by analysis growth traits such as plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, main root length, root to shoot ratio and root volume.4. Floating breeding method and a special fertilizer for tobacco seedlings （N: P: K=18:9:18） can shorten breeding period and improve seedling quality.5. Eustoma cultivation methods, which applied High ridge cultivation, drip irrigation and fertilized organic and inorganic manure under heavy clay soil in Tianjin, can get high quality production.6. Two types of preservative solution, 2% sucrose +0.2% Ca （NO3） 2 +0.5% citric acid‖and―0.1 mg.L-1 ascorbic acid +0.2% Ca （NO3） 2 +0.5% citric acid, can extend shelf life of cut flowing better.
