Abstract


GEM in China began operations on October 30, 2009 , China and even the whole world capital market milestone . The launch of the GEM , to solve the financing channels for enterprises , well-functioning \The high of the first listed company earnings , the high rate of IPO underpricing , market enthusiasm high , the world would marvel . IPO underpricing (IPO Under pricing) is a common phenomenon in domestic and foreign securities , the first day of the IPO presents a significant difference with a market pricing , research in this area is in the financial sector has been hot . Our the GEM market presence particularly severe underpricing phenomenon . This paper attempts to learn from foreign research based on a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research , a comprehensive and systematic analysis of GEM IPO underpricing phenomenon . This paper describes the background and significance of the research , and research methods , research purposes and innovations , review of related research theory ; then combined with the characteristics of the GEM theoretical analysis of the factors that affect IPO underpricing and empirical analysis to identify the factors that affect GEM IPO underpricing ; relationship with IPO underpricing and then from the angle of the GEM IPO performance ; concluded conclusions and make appropriate recommendations on the basis of the research .
