Abstract


With economic development, the modern service industry gradually become an important pillar industry of the world's economic growth, its level of development has become an important standard to measure the level of economic development of a country and region, the strong development of modern service industry must rely on its strong competitive force, modern service industry competitiveness can directly reflect the comprehensive competitiveness of the services sector and the level of development. In recent years, the modern service industry in Xi'an has been great development, not only become one of the five leading industries of Xi'an \of key industries, but compared with other developed cities, there are still unreasonable internal structure of the state, less competitive, and other issues. Xi'an, the development of modern service industry competitiveness study of modern service industries and their competitiveness at home and abroad research, research methods were analyzed and summarized, on this basis, the definition of the modern service industry in Xi'an industry and select deviate from the share of the law as a research method. Second, the collection of a number of practitioners of the modern service industry in Xi'an and Shaanxi Province in 2004-2009 ten industry, the use of the Shift Share Analysis Method, Shaanxi Province, the reference object, from the point of view of the industry structure analysis of modern service industry in Xi'an competitive situation in Shaanxi province, and further to fully explore its competitive position in the country to find out the advantages and disadvantages of Xi'an, the development of modern service industry. Furthermore, with reference to the service sector competitiveness study of influencing factors related theory, put forward the main factors to affect the level of competitiveness of modern service industry in Xi'an, and the use of regression analysis to analyze it, in order to identify the main influencing factors. The results show that: the better the overall level of modern service industry in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province and the country the pace of development of various industries were higher than average, in the country living in the middle and upper levels, and weaker in the eastern coastal cities, much higher than the western other capital cities. In Shaanxi province, the structural advantages of the more prominent, but weak overall competitiveness; and provinces and cities nationwide performance: the level of competitiveness is good, but its internal structure advantage is weak; level of urbanization and urban residents per capita disposable income affect the a Xi'an modern service industry competitive level. Finally, the conditions and constraints for the development of the competitiveness of the modern service industry in Xi'an, respectively, from the two aspects of the industry structure and the external environment targeted suggestions to enhance the level of competitiveness of the modern service industry in Xi'an. Therefore, this article is not only to provide a more complete theoretical framework for the study of modern service industry, will also provide a theoretical foundation to improve the level of competitiveness of Xi'an modern service industry, promote the optimization and adjustment of the economic structure of the modern service industry in Xi'an, Xi'an comprehensive competitive force as a whole jumped great strategic significance.
