Abstract


With the rapid development of our social economy, people’s living standards have been improved greatly; leisure activity becomes an important part in our daily life. Because of the increasing development in leisure time and discretionary income, which the consumption concept especially the urban residents has been changed that they turn to the pursuit and consumption in spiritual enjoyment , spending more time and money for participation in leisure activities. The attention of quality of life is the basic characteristics of modern society. With the leisure activity becoming varied, people pay more and more attention to the quality of their leisure activities, hoping to achieve higher quality in their spare time of their leisure life.The city is the most dense and abundant area in leisure activities of human. There are mainly four kinds of daily affairs components of urban residents’ life : the housework, job (learning), shopping and leisure activities. Along with the development of modern city, the lifestyle and content from the four daily behavior of urban residents began to develop to the leisure entertainment. Leisure satisfaction is one of the important indexes of satisfaction that people get in the participation in leisure activity, which is also a kind of psychological activities of the people in all of these activities. Research on leisure activities satisfaction is one way to know the quality of the leisure activity, which can help to know the benefits one get during the leisure activities. The condition of l urban residents’ leisure life, and how to improve the satisfaction of urban residents’ leisure activities have been the study to these leisure researchers. Therefore, the research of leisure activity satisfaction of urban residents is closely related to the urban comprehensive development and all-round construction of harmonious society and a well-off life.As one of the leisure capitals in the Midwest of China, Xi’an has its unique leisure resources and leisure environment. This thesis is based on permanent residents of Xi’an city, from the Angle of anthropogeography city life space quality, to study the needs of urban leisure in modern society, leisure behavior characteristics and leisure activities satisfaction, trying to provide a case for other leisure industry researcher and reference for the development of Xi’an leisure industry
