Abstract


As the economy, technology, information become globalized and the market competition is growing fierce, how to keep an enterprise in a good operation becomes an important issue on the desk of the small and medium manufacturing enterprises. Therefore, the effect and influence of the leadership team’s social capital for the cohesion and operating performance have been strongly concerned by the management scholars and the current situation needs us to answer the question that whether the team cohesion plays the role of an intermediary when the entrepreneurs’social capital influences the operating performance.This search is a social sciences fund item in Shandong province, choosing small and medium manufacturing enterprises as the research object, discusses the relationship between entrepreneurs’social and cohesion, and the relationship between cohesion and market performance. Using a social capital frame work, this paper identifies structural, cognitive, and relational dimensions for social capital. Then this paper links these social capital dimensions to two aspects of cohesion and cohesion to firm performance.Through to Zibo 102 head of undertaking interview and questionnaire survey analysis, from the team social capital’s structure dimension, the relational dimension and the cognition dimension embarked, have discussed it to the duty cohesive force and the contact cohesive force influence, then had the material effect to the enterprise achievements. The results show that the team social capital’s three dimensions have the remarkable forward function to the team cohesion and the enterprise achievements, and team cohesion have agent to act between business performance and social capital at the team.
