Abstract


Wireless sensor network integrated sensing, detection , short-range wireless communications , network information processing and low-power design techniques , with a wide range of potential applications of space , has been named one of the top ten technologies of the 21st century human life WSN has been increasingly used in military and civilian spheres , about the key technologies of wireless sensor networks have gradually become the research hotspot . IEEE 802.15.4 Working Group began the development of a low- rate wireless communication protocols Zigbee schemes have been proposed . Eventually decided to jointly develop a new communication protocol standard IEEE 802.15.4 Working Group and the Zigbee Alliance , this standard was officially named \improve some of the features of the layer , in order to optimize the performance of the network . Its main elements: 1 . Zigbee communication protocol MAC layer implementation. Details the protocol implementation of the software and hardware platform , the overall design of the MAC layer , and the specific functions of the MAC layer according to the detailed implementation method described , and the function of the MAC layer to perform the actual authentication . 2.MAC layer channel access mechanism and time synchronization mechanism improved . Fully consider bamboo point of wireless sensor networks low-cost, low-power, low-rate , high - accuracy time synchronization features of the MAC layer of CSMA / CA channel access mechanism and the time synchronization mechanism to improve , to get greater throughput in the network the amount and high time synchronization accuracy while reducing the power consumption of the node , and give full play to the advantages of wireless sensor networks .
