Abstract


West of the southern margin of the Ordos region Liupanshan tectonic belt , south North Qilian - North Qinling belt , according to the North Ordos Basin , East the then the Fenhe rift Department , constructed in a unique position . Ordovician strata complex system in the study area , the deposition phase change significantly . Research Ordovician tectonic and sedimentary evolution of the southern margin of Ordos , Ordos southern margin of the Ordovician gas reservoir distribution and accumulation law to provide a theoretical basis and information , and to solve the long-standing dispute of the southern margin of the Ordos region part of the stratigraphic . Theory of continental dynamics and basin analysis , comprehensive utilization of surface geological logging of core drilling and geophysical and geochemical methods and means of analysis and testing , the combination of field and laboratory studies , the Southern edge of the area through the preparation of Erdos Austrian deposition pattern map and palaeotectonics of Ordovician sedimentary phase diagram reproduce the evolution of the southern margin of the Ordos Ordovician sedimentary structures . Granite body at the same time the development of the study area and conglomerate in granite gravel study provides evidence for the southern margin of the Ordos and adjacent areas Ordovician tectonic background understanding . The results show that : the southern margin of the Ordos region Ordovician experienced the Early Ordovician early passive continental margin - in the Late Ordovician Grooved - active continental margin arc - basin system - the end of the Ordovician uplift missing deposited this evolution occurred . period of tectonic inversion of the end of the Early Ordovician . The the Ordovician tectonic features of the study area in period Majiagou and peak period exists a the Xunyi - Chunhua Depression .
