Abstract


There are a lot of historical, cultural and famous cities in China. The enchantment of famous cities shows the difference between areas and environment. Meanwhile an animating city should have its own characteristics. Therefore, the areas and environment should be demonstrated fully when the city streetscapeing is to be considered.The city square concentrated reflection city history, the culture and the charm, was most important carrier of unfolding the city region culture characteristic was "city symbol". In recent years, our country has raised the city square construction upsurge, and is fruitful. But as a result of the globalization tide, it causes western culture intense impact us, causes each city the region culture characteristic to vanish slowly, between city and city also more and more similar,this question is day by day serious. It is a very urgent and important issue for us to figure out how to combine a plaza with local city space system and maintain the regional characteristics in that city. So we not only need study the theory of city design but also should carry out the research within specific area focusing on its regional characteristics.Based on those thinking, I have focused on "Fengxian culture square", which is designed by myself in the period of read grind, and taken this practice work as a case study.Chapter 1: Introduction. It mainly discusses the importance and urgency of the research, the methods and the scope used in this research paper. Then establishes the research implementation frame of the paper. Chapter 2: The outline and development of the city square. Take a brief description to the definition,classification and the development of the city square. Combine the function and the characteristics on city square, explain relevant city design theories and city square space analytical methods. Chapter 3: The perceptual knowledge of the square landscape design with characteristic of culture of region. At first has explained the regional relevant problems. On this basis, change the focal point studied over to the relation that all regional key elements and city squares are designed. Explain the content, value and meaning with characteristic culture of region separately, Sum up and set up the characteristic attribute with square view of the region culture characteristic. The city square is as a kind of outside heterogeneous space element, combine western city historical changes course of square, and sum up the universal law of the square reflects the characteristic region of the city. Chapter 4: Comprehensive research of the city square landscape design with characteristic of culture of region. Through the analysis of the question which exists on the modern city square. Summarize the comprehensive principle, creation thinking designed on cultural square, and view goal and meaning on Cultural Square. Chapter 5: The embodiment analyses and researches the local characteristic of the city square, on several foundations of chapter theoretical research before being based on. Combine the design of the cultural square of Feng County, and sum up and summarize the countermeasure of regional design of city square. Finally, review and look into the distance on this subject.
