This article takes the Pingyao city wall as the object of study. Analysis of the influential factors on structure bearing capacity of Ancient city wall of Shanxi Pingyao thought study, analyzes two aspects.Firstly, this paper introduced the basic structure of Pingyao city wall briefly; Secondly, elaborated each disease of Pingyao city wall particularly; The fourth chapter is the main contents of this article, through Finite Element Calculation on each kind of disease which already discovered, contrasts their influence to the wall; Lastly, in refers to the fourth chapter of computed result in the foundation, works out the health monitoring plan of Pingyao old city wall.By the disease investigation and finite element analysis, the main conclusions are achieved as follows:(1)Through read a lot of maintenance and reinforcement reports about the Pingyao old city provide by the China National Institute of Cultural Property an well as 15 day-long the disease investigation, summarizes the disease which already discovered or discovered and the disadvantageous structural style.(2) Analysis on each Simulation disease though the finite element structure analysis software, obtain and compared with their ultimate bearing capacities, contrasts their Influence degree to the bearing capacity of wall under disease.(3) Working out the health monitoring plan of Pingyao old city wall through the Disease investigation and Computation analysis result above.
