Abstract


Compared to the traditional diesel locomotive, Electric Vehicle (EV) has high energy efficiency, green, non-polluting and sustainable to development. The key technologies of electric vehicles, including the R&D of battery and drive controller. Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with high efficiency, low torque ripple, high dynamic performance and high energy density characteristics is gradually being applied to the motor vehicle drive control system.In this paper, access to a large number of documents and under the case of well understanding of the present situation of domestic and international electric vehicle development profiles and drive control technology, we propose a PMSM vector control system for electric vehicles. Based on this, analysis the basic structure of PMSM and its mathematical model in different coordinate system, study the theory of vector control, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), the motor starting in any position and the settings of the torque angle of such vector control key technologies.Based on the above all theoretical analysis and requirements of the control system, according to the DSP control board, which choose TMS320F2812 as CPU, power inverter, driver protection circuit board constituted by discrete MOSFET on-off components, write the dual closed-loop vector control program and any position start-up procedures and protection procedures. Finally, carry out a series of experiments on the motor dedicated load platform from low speed to the rated speed under no load to full load.Experimental results show that the controller designed is able to achieve a PMSM vector id=0 control, which can meet the motor full load for a long time safe and stable operation requirements, the design of low voltage high current PMSM vector controller can meet the demand of small electric vehicles, deserve further research and development.
