Abstract


The university counselor is the backbone to carry out college student Ideological and Political education. With the change and development of society, the total quality demand of higher education to counselor team is more and more high. Strengthening the university counselor troop building and accelerating the professionalization course of counselor staff are important organize guarantee and long effect mechanism to strengthen and improve college student Ideological and Political education and safeguard the universities. It has very important significance, such as putting Party’s educational policy into effect all round, strengthening the focalization and effectiveness of college student Ideological and Political education, and putting various tasks of college student Ideological and Political education into practice.The popularized development of higher education and the socialist modernization construction have brought about new difficult position and initiated new problems of the university counselor staff construction. Only by replying on professionalization, enhancing professional quality and vocational ability of university counselor team and walking along the new vocational road can settle these problems. Such as adapting to the tendency of the time, answering the social situation, resolving various problems that college faces during the development, and strengthening the focalization and effectiveness of college student Ideological and Political education and so on. The main content is studied how to carry out professionalism construction of college counselor staff exactly being one kind of sense of historical responsibility and times, the target is“politics is strong, specialized subject is great, discipline is tight, style is honest”.There are four chapters in the total paper. Chapter I is an introduction, including the research background of selected topic, the domestic and foreign present research situation, the main research thinking ,the primary content and the main research methods. Chapter II analyzes firstly the evolution course of the university vocational counselor troop, analyzes the connotation of the university vocational counselor troop and introduces the meaning of the university vocational counselor troop. Chapter III introduces the overall trend of the current construction and development of university counselor troop is positive and uplifting on the basis of investigation and study, but there are also many problems and deficiencies. The article analyzes carefully the main reasons that lead to the problems. Chapter IV proposes there are seven methods to construct university vocational counselor staff, such as enhancing the understanding of the status and function of university counselor, optimizing the structure of university counselor staff, establishing perfect management system of university counselor, establishing professional training system of university counselor and so on.
