Abstract


The oil industry is always the mainstay industry in our national energy industry. Petroleum exploration and development are main parts. In recent years, many software developers have applied themselves to developing softwares which are used to accelerate the speed of the petroleum exploration and development and improve the production efficiency. These softwares based on the database of petroleum exploration which are applied to research and production management have improved the level of research and production management and the efficiency of work. Along with growth of oilfield development time, in the process of petroleum exploration, numerous geological information and development management information have been accumulated. The comprehensive application of these information has important significance on guiding petroleum exploration, development and production.Up to now, the well-known GIS platform system such as MAPX, ArcInfo and ArcGis which provides a few large graphics engine based on GIS, but doesn’t have enough support to geological profession. It cannot respond users’ demond for customization service either. According to the development trend of GIS, spatial database now is gradually paid attention to, and got more and more extensive application, so it can’t meet need if it only has graphics engine. We must to supply a complete GIS spatial object display, edit, save, search and topological operation intergration solution. Along with the development of spatial database technology, a large number of spatial data are saved in database as object format. All the management and operation only operate to spatial objects and shield a lot of coordinates details(a kind of specific expression of object-oriented). With a great number of professional software platforms have been developed, spatial data objects must have been called numerously as basic data of professional business. It exists consistency problem that the service of spatial data supplied by different platforms and professional software.To solve the problem above-mentioned, it will increase the available data’s utilization factor and efficiency that research and develop a utility GIS graphics editing system of petroleum exploration which combinate the application of spatial database and the GIS graphic display together.In this paper, the main research, targeting of data of spatial target, is the basic application technology and the realization of the spatial target in the network system. Meanwhile it provides the basic platform of servicing to and managing the spatial object data for the development of more complex and professional application. This paper first introduces the design and realization of foreground client of displaying the spatial object. Then it introduces the design and realization of background service engine of the spatial object server. This paper also makes introduction of cooperative communication between the client and the server.
