Abstract


Virtual reality technology is a kind of technology to form a three-dimensional virtual environment with computer hardware, software and transducers. For VR technology can produce a rich and unprecedented environment in which to interactive naturally, it has powerful superiority in simulation demonstration, military train, experiment, practice and so on. Being widely used, VR technology has a profound influence on every aspect of our society, not excepting education. Especially, VR Lab in which we can study and explore, have solved the experimental problem of the school education and the distance education.The multimedia classroom has been widely used in the teaching, which can transport a lot of information between the teachers and students at the same time and enhance the teaching quality and efficiency greatly. As the multimedia classroom’s expensive facility, different specification, which can be easily damaged if operating improperly, and the students and teachers need former systemic studies, many school can’t meet the study need for many reasons (such as the facility’s high price, needing the expert’s training etc.). Then, taking the virtual experience is an efficient way to solve this problem. This dissertation is going to study and develop the virtual multimedia classroom according to the recent facts of the virtual experimental teaching.Firstly, on the base of the comparison the properties and features of deferent VRTs, this dissertation tries to find out a technical route to effectively develop the VR to serve education. After some comparisons to VR technology of table, EON Studio, is found more worthy of application in education. With superb visual effect, EON Reality which can combine VR hardware for VR System Simulation, have solutions in all aspects form the low desktop VR to the top. Meanwhile, it can match hardware to cater different requirements of user. It is unique one among domestic market. So the topic of this dissertation is decided as "A Research of the Virtual Reality Technology Based on EON Studio in Multimedia Classroom." This research focuses on exploring a new way, a technical route for educational VR development to make VRT serve teaching effectively.Furthermore, according to the technology comparisons, to determine with the special VR tool software, fitting together with the technological development route of the third-party’s modeling software for developing desk-top virtue environments ,the technical route through comparison of VRT; then, according to the design of technical route, try to build an 3D virtual teaching environment to prove the technical route and lay a foundation for the further research; finally, with technical route , the development experiment with 3D Max as the modeling tool, using EON Studio software as the interactive scene setting to proves the feasibility and validity.The three as following is the evaluation of work: This research found out a VR development route for education; By developed the work named" Virtual Multimedia Classroom System", I solved the teaching of the knowledge on Multimedia Classroom System and practice problems; this research can enlighten other technologies to apply to education for improving the integration of technology and curriculum.
