Abstract


With the development of science and technology, wind power as a no pollution and renewable energy gets more and more attentions. Wind power area is booming rapidly in the past few years. Total installed capacity of wind turbine in China had already reached the world first place till last year. However, domestic production rate of wind turbine main gearbox which is an important component of wind turbine is not high. Especially there is not mature domestic product above 3 MW. Bench test is a necessary means for researching and developing wind turbine main gearbox. The study on test bench for MW wind turbine main gearbox will promoting the development of MW wind turbine main gearbox and improving product quality.Therefore, this thesis studied and developed a test bench for 6 MW wind turbine main gearbox. The basic structures of wind turbine, wind turbine main gearbox and the test bench are reviewed. On this basis, a driver and loader system which is able to simulation the running state of wind turbine gearbox was constructed with Siemens inverter, motor, PLC and WINCC. A monitoring system for wind turbine gearbox is established for using of NI data acquisition card and Labview software. The mathematical and computation model of drivetrain dynamics of test bench was constructed in LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim environment. It is analysis of free torsional vibration and transient dynamics of drivetrain. Linear analysis is applied for the cases of free vibration and transient torsional dynamics, such as eigenfrequencies, mode shapes etc. The eigen frequencies and mode shapes of vibration model on free torsional vibration model was obtained in order to improve the test system loading precision and avoid torsional vibration resonance.The whole master thesis is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 gives an overview and background for this master thesis. The actualities and trends of development of wind turbine, wind turbine main gearbox and test bench of wind turbine main gearbox are introduced. The function and characteristics of wind turbine main gearbox are given too.Chapter 2 brings out the general scheme of test bench on wind turbine main gearbox. The fundamentals of the components used in a wind turbine are presented. The typical configurations of wind turbine main gearbox and its test bench are reviewed. Finally, the general scheme of driver and loader system of, the drive train and the monitoring system of the test bench is given.Chapter 3 constructs the mathematical and computation model of drivetrain dynamics of test bench on wind turbine main gearbox in AMESim environment. Elastodynamics, the multibody simulation techniques and LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim software are reviewed.Chapter 4 focuses on analysis of free torsional vibration and transient dynamics of drivetrain. Linear analysis is applied for the cases of free vibration and transient torsional dynamics, such as eigenfrequencies, mode shapes etc.Chapter 5 designs hardware and software of the test bench, includes motor, frequency converter, PLC, WINCC system, coupler and monitoring system.Finally, in Chapter 6, a conclusion is made and several suggestions for future work are given.
