Abstract


Road transport infrastructure , as the infrastructure of a country's economy , is an important prerequisite for achieving economic development and social progress . Road transport infrastructure , public property and public welfare , and the decision its supply is inseparable from the government . Before and after China's reform and opening up , the shift of government functions in the road infrastructure supply to the construction of road infrastructure has brought an opportunity to make the increasingly rapid pace of development of the highway , the highway system increasingly large scale . However, at this stage of our government in the road transport infrastructure supply in functions also have some shortcomings . Therefore , to improve the government 's role in the supply of road infrastructure , the road fast and healthy development , it is particularly important . Firstly, starting from the nature of the road transport infrastructure , road infrastructure supply characteristics to clarify the public road infrastructure product attributes and public welfare on the basis of analysis , from the perspective of economic theory , and pointed out that the road transport infrastructure the theoretical basis of the supply can not be separated from the government , and the government should play what specific role . Then listed as foreign governments in the supply side of the road , and concluded in developed countries can learn from the experience . Historical analysis and comparison , and the domestic situation and pointed out that the Chinese government at this stage in the role of road transport supply inadequacies . On this basis , the Chinese government in this regard shall strengthen the functions of the recommendations .
