Abstract

The study of the relationship of the population, arable land and food production is the socio-economic development, especially sustainable agricultural development. The people are the owners of the means of production, no doubt the decision to promote social progress, but subsistence consumers, one of the most important means of subsistence - food in many countries over the years failed to resolve the problem. China has entered a stage of accelerated development of industrialization, the growing demand for food, food supply and demand situation will directly affect the economic development and people's lives. Inner Mongolia as one of the main producing areas of China's grain production, under the premise to meet their own needs for national food security can make some contribution to. However, due to the vulnerability of the natural ecological environment in this area, as well as humanity has long unreasonable land use, food production is facing a lot of pressure. Farmland is the the carrier food production, Inner Mongolia, although the relatively large area of ??arable land per capita, but per capita gross national product and the farmers and herdsmen per capita income in the country is low, the region's arable land use efficiency is not high. Limited arable land resources and the use of low-efficiency, coupled with the impact of population growth inertia, is bound to have an adverse impact on the sustainable development of Inner Mongolia's population and arable land resources. Inner Mongolia's population and arable land resources for sustainable development research is based on historical data. Firstly, on the relationship between population and arable land and the sustainable development of the two made to define, and then analyze and evaluate the dynamic development and current status of the region's population and arable land. The theory of the article is based on population, resources and environmental economics, the theoretical description of the premise, focused on the consequences of the existing relationship between the population and arable land as well as factors affecting the sustainable development of population and arable land, laid the foundation for the later model. Scientific predictions of future population and arable land, food is the basis for development of appropriate macroeconomic policies. System dynamics methods used in the evaluation of population and arable land resources can be sustainable development, to be applied to the Inner Mongolia population, the research areas of cultivated land resources and food supply and demand coordinated development. SD modeling software Vensim, the establishment of system dynamics theory, methods and models for the main frame, using the latest version of Inner Mongolia's population - cultivated land - food system dynamic simulation model predictive analysis based on historical data simulation , concluded: consider long-term point of view, according to Inner Mongolia's existing population, farmland development and food production programs, Inner Mongolia population and arable land is not sustainable. Finally on the basis of the empirical analysis of the relationship between population and arable land, Inner Mongolia, the future population and arable land resources sustainable development of the appropriate measures taken to provide a reference for macroeconomic policy-making.
