Abstract


As an important component of the national economy, Capital market plays an significant role in the process of implementing macroeconomic policies for its macro-control function can promote the achievement of macroeconomic objectives effectively, making up for the inadequate of both the fiscal policy and monetary policy. Fundamentally speaking, the operation of the capital market and macroeconomic operation should be consistent, because macroeconomic cycles decide capital market cycle and the changes of capital market cycle reflect changes of the macro-economic cycle in turn.In recent years, China’s capital markets have deepened ceaselessly along with the sustained and rapid development of economy. With the basic completion of split share structure reform, China’s stock market, especially A-share market has achieved rapid development and has a tremendous role in promoting the development of the national economy. However, B-share market are facing more and more problems, presenting a striking contrasts to the A-share market which performs rapid development.China’s B-share market was founded in 1992. Through its development course we can see that it has played an important role in promoting the development and internationalization of China’s capital market. Nevertheless, the status of B-share market is gradually being marginalized in China’s capital market due to the unclear positioning and degradation of its basic functions.Starting from the existing problems and contradictions faced in the operation of macro-economy, this paper scan the B-share market in a new perspective, combining the resolve of B-share market problem with the resolve of macroeconomic internal and external unbalance problem, and find that in current economic environment it has enormous value to redevelop B-share market: through the development of the B-share market, we can provide a reasonable investment channels for China’s huge foreign exchange funds and ease the pressure on domestic inflation and RMB appreciation, alleviating the situation of internal and external economic unbalance. In a word, redevelopment of B-share market can solve the problems existed in the current macroeconomics to some extent as well as the problems faced by itself.
