Abstract


With the last-decade development of the higher education and the progress of the socialization reform of the university logistics, university logistics, in parallel with teaching and research, has become one of the "three engines" to accelerate the higher education. In addition to facilitating the development of universities, the logistics has also achieved great expansion. However, it also confronts several main constraints to its development:the the low quality of logistics staff, the high turnover, low satisfaction, and weak sense of belonging.This study first refers to a large number of domestic and international research documents on employee satisfaction and turnover intention, and applies the relevant research results as the theoretical tool to analyse employee satisfaction and turnover intention of the logistics group. By using employee satisfaction and turnover intention questionnaire to inquire the logistics group, and analysing and processing the questionnaire data with SPSS13, it analyses the relationship between employee satisfaction and turnover intention of the logistics group with examples, and reaches a preliminary conclusion with the data analysis. Furthermore, this paper conducts targeted interviews and digs out the fundamental reasons behind low satisfaction and high turnover intention.Ultimately, based on a clear perception to the deep reasons of low satisfaction and high turnover intention, this study poses measures and suggestions to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover intention on the aspects of adopting people-oriented management idea, optimizing salary distribution, diversifying employee incentive, building fair and equitable internal environment, and constructing corporate culture.
