Abstract


Content: The soccer has the glorious history as the traditional group event in university’s development. Developing the soccer classes, can not only enable the students get improved in the participation process, but can also raise the students’tenacious will and team spirit. The study includes both questionnaires and interviews. It is to explore the current condition of the university student’s soccer classes. From October to November in 2007, the writer has conducted the investigation in 21 universities in Changchun and Dalian.The results are: 88.8% of the students love the soccer sports and then choose the soccer class, their most main goals stem from the interest hobby; The students participate in the soccer sports, which is influenced by the time and the climatic, the result is remarkable (P<0.01); The students have high satisfaction with the field, the unsatisfied student are mainly from the universities which do not have artificial lawns, the students’degree of satisfaction have the unusual significant difference according with the artificial lawn (P<0.01); The regional economies also affect the universities’sport facilities; Most of the students who take the soccer as an selective class have attended soccer matches, and pay high attention to the matches. The teachers’age structure is more reasonable, the middle-aged teachers take up 75% of the whole population; But the professional title structure is slightly unreasonable, it needs to be further adjusted and optimized, in order to display the roles of teachers on different levels; The proportion of academic degrees has a gap with the national request, and needs to be further optimized; The soccer teachers’subjects and skills meet the requirements, which facilitate the teaching; 62.5% of the teachers can complete the basic skills teaching in class, and cultivate students’ability; Because of the low professional titles, unreasonable academic degrees, the scientific research condition are common. The soccer teachers’teaching level, the students’interest, the weather and the climate, and the condition of the field are important attributes of affecting the development of university soccer classes.
