Abstract

The modern basketball game stemmed from the US in 1891, was invented by youth Christianity school teacher James.Naismith, east the US Massachusetts state Springfield (spring field city), has already more than 100 years’history. Found by the material research, the modern basketball game was introduced into China in 1895 by the first general managers dispatched to the Chinese Tianjin Youth club by International Christian Youth Association, Basketball has already become one of the most popular sports for people around the world. With the popularity and development of basketball, the worldwide basketball sports level have attained very big enhancement, the basketball game has become more and more intense and competitive. In the 21st century, alonging with the globalized development of basketball, communication and exchanges have been strengthened between various countries, which stimulate boosting the level of basketball playing around the world., the competition level in various countries are getting close gradually, in many games it is difficult to judge the outcome until the last minute .The circumstances that the outcome of a game is decided by only one shot become more usual, which enable the basketball game of suspense and charm. With the further development of modern basketball game, Teams at all levels abiding by "high, quick, full, accurate and relentless" basketball sports development trends as the guiding ideology of their own training, and thereby to improve their team. During the modern basketball game filled with high intensity and high speed, the vicious, fierce confrontation has become the most appropriate and simple description towards the characteristics of basketball. Highlight the "quick" in the tactical style and tactical system have been attached more and more importance by the vast number of athletes and coaches .Offensive and defensive conversion in the modern basketball sport has more and more revealed its significance and effect. The impact of Offensive and defensive conversion on games also become increasingly evident. In recent years, the Chinese team emerged as the Yao Ming, Bateer, who are world-class high-level center. However, traced back to 2002, the 14th Men’s Basketball Championships, the Chinese men’s basketball team only got 7 loss and 1 win and finally ranked 12th. In August 2004, the 28th Olympic Games in Athens came to an end. Chinese men’s basketball team has ranked 8th which is equal to the best ever international competition result in the past, we can be satisfied with this if we only take result into consideration. But if we watch the process of competition, we can not be as pleased as before, what we have demonstrated in front of the world is a men’s basketball team in which players scored fewer points, and is lack of capacity of scoring, offensive and defensive conversion slow down. In a word this is a team not only lack of defensive but also offensive, In the 28th Olympic Games, the Chinese men’s basketball average height reached 2.02m, second only to Argentina, Though China has increased in height, it seems that they have lost "quickly, accurately, and Spirit" tactical style and characteristics.At this year’s Olympic Games, Chinese men’s basketball team led by Yao Ming missed the good opportunity to create history and a new chapter of Chinese basketball ,they failed to create a miracle and missed the chance to entry the semi-finals with a regrettable way as farewell to the Beijing Olympic Games, but we have seen that the Chinese men’s basketball has put one step further near the world-class level, but in order to become a world-class basketball power, Chinese men’s basketball team still has a long way to go.The position of the strong teams can be replaced, the rank will constantly change along with the development of basketball level, In this article the world class strong power refers to the national team which has achieved first eight ranking at the Olympic Games or world championships .Although the Chinese men’s basketball at the 29th Olympic Games has ranked 8th, the process of competition and the post-game statistics show obviously that the gap between Chinese team teams and world strong teams is big, so the Chinese basketball team can not be regarded as world strong team.In this article, I base my analysis on the technical statistics between Chinese team and the world team competition in the 29th Beijing Olympic Games, combined with the video to watch the matches, I will conduct systematic and scientific analysis aimed at the capable of offensive and defensive of the Chinese men’s basketball team and the world strong teams, and conduct analysis through contrasting between the 28th Olympic Games and the 27th Olympic Games. I‘ll mainly focus on the Chinese team’s offensive and defensive ability thereby conducting an in-depth discussion, and then find out Where the gap of the offensive and defensive capabilities really is through compared the Chinese men’s basketball team with the world strong team, what I do is in order to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement the level of Chinese basketball, and narrow the gap between Chinese Men’s Basketball Team and the world-class ones, so that Chinese men’s basketball team could quickly enter the ranks of the world-class team. Through the research we found:1) Tall Chinese basketball has already integrate with the world, younger, are a team with huge potential2) Chinese Men’s Basketball games can score 72.3 points per game, compared to the world-class teams there is an obvious gap3) Problems arising from offensive to defensive process are: the Chinese team is lack of general changeable capacity of defensive tactics, less effects of the use of tactical cooperation. Fewer steals, team members’poor offensive capacity4) guard of The Chinese men’s basketball team rely too much on the post player when the team need scoring, do not have a strong sense of shooting, poor scoring ability, in particular the capacity of shooting two points need to be further improved; the ability and sense of grabbing offensive rebound rebounds are weak; in attack, with inclined to focusing on team organization, neglecting of the personal attacks and lack of penetration capabilities.5) The Chinese men’s basketball team members need strengthen their psychological training, physical confrontation and the use of technologies
