Abstract


With the social and economic development, people’s material and cultural life has been greatly improved, mental health is becoming more and more important to people. College Students’ mental health has been the attention from all walks of life and Psychological crisis intervention has become an important issue of common concern. Psychological crisis means a state of temporary psychological unbalance taking place after a precipitating event. Female college students, compared with male college students, are different in their ability, personality, motivation, need, ideals, values and physical health, since they have their inherent characteristics in cognitive internal tendentiousness and independent psychological characteristics, plus social prejudices against women. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a psychological crisis intervention system more suitable for female college students, according to the female college students’ characteristics, to achieve the best effect of intervention.This study investigates the female college students’ psychological crisis, using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, for a better understanding and analysis of the female college students’ psychological characteristics and it provides reference data to the education of mental health workers. At the same time, by taking part of the female students in-depth interviews, the study analyzes the psychological reasons for the crisis and provides theoretical reference for female college students’ psychological crisis intervention. It also aims to construct an intervention network and prevention system for female college students’ psychological crisis, in order to reduce and control the suicide rates of college students, especially female students, for the maintenance of social stability and improvement of the level of students’ mental health. The study will provide theoretical and practical reference for the normal teaching order and the order of life in colleges.
