Abstract


At the beginning of the information construction, the companies and government constructed many systems to enhance their efficiency according to their requirements. Under that moment, these systems did improve efficiency greatly, but following with the information construction, these disadvantages of disability of data exchange contributed by business systems created in their own ways exposed gradually, and the data exchange problem became the important bottleneck of information construction.Data exchange is one of important components of all kinds of computer network applications, is the main method to remove the "information isolated island" and is also the difficulty that has to face during the development of informationlization. Owing to its extensibility, structural property, validity and other superior capabilities, XML becomes the standard language of textual format for describing structural information. XML technology is not only a single criterion but a technological system including XML Schema、DOM、XSLT、XLink、XPath etc. The particular advantages of XML makes it could solve main problems in the field of data exchanging and information integrating, so making researches on data exchange platform based on XML has become the main method to remove the "information isolated island".Based on the information resources integrating in the transportation industry, the main research contents of this dissertation were recapitulated as follows:(1)The status of data exchange was deeply researched in this paper. Byanalyzing and studying the commonly used methods of data exchange, the strengthsand weaknesses of these methods were summarized in this paper.(2)Based on the full understanding of xml-based knowledge, the design of thedata exchange platform that using xml as the intermediate format was raised in thispaper. And then both the schema mapping and the data mapping were deeplyresearched. (3) Realizable ways of the main modules that designed in this paper were studied. And then the security measures that could enhance the security level, such as using the dongle in the xml-based data exchange platform, were studied deeply.(4) The practicality and the stability of the xml-based data exchange platform were verified in the transportation information resources integrating project of Hubei province. The practical results show that this platform could fully satisfy the demand of information resources integration.
