Abstract


In recent years,with the rapid development of the communication industry and the Internet,as well as to further accelerate the pace of life,wireless mobile applications are becoming ever more widespread.The wide deployment of 3G networks has laid a solid foundation further for 3G business and new development of mobile internet.For mobile commerce has brought an unprecedented convenient business way to the social life,it’s generally being expected and welcomed widely.With the popularity of mobile business applications,all kinds of sensitive data and information are bound to be involved.Because of the interception nature of wireless signal and the majority of mobile devices with limited memory and computing power,mobile systems are vulnerable to data thieves’ attack.Security has become a major obstacle for the universality of mobile commerce.In China,security issues have not been satisfactorily resolved,mobile business has complicated operation and poor user experience,and users have not the habit of using mobile commerce,as a result,mobile commerce has been developing slowly and most of them are limited to micro-payment.Once the user accustomed to using mobile commerce,it will certainly bring enormous business opportunities and profits. Future trends in mobile commerce are bound to have a bright future.A J2ME-based mobile commerce system for the background of the subject,this paper researches the data security and confidentiality issues in the wireless transmission in wireless mobile applications.The main research topics include:1. analyzed the development of mobile commerce system and some existent problems of mobile application currently;2.Combined J2ME technology,which is powerful and can be cross-platform,with XML technology,which is the data exchange standard in network communications,and used the XML security mechanisms to build security systems for mobile applications to enhance the performance of mobile devices data security;3.Used the hybrid method of symmetric cryptographic algorithms and nonsymmetric cryptographic algorithm to do data encryption,decryption,signature and verification.In this way,the system has the advantages of both symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithm;4.Implemented the designed secure Solution in the mobile commerce system;5.Analyzed the security and performance of the solution,and pointed out its advantages in security and deficiencies in performance.
