Abstract

Economy Globalization is the market economy in the scope of the whole world. With the constant promotion of the process of global economy integration, as the terminal station of sales, retailing also incorporated this process progressively, have formed the turbulent internationalized tide. Retail enterprises in many countries will face competition not only from domestic enterprises but also from foreign enterprises. China has totally opened areas of retailing for foreign investors on 11st December 2004. Foreign companies can enter china market without any limit of areas、shares and amounts of investment. This means china’s retailing will face more violent international completion and the strong competition challenge from the world.Along to the more and more foreign retailers entering, by analyzing the competitive condition of domestic and foreign retailing, objectively speaking, Compared with multinational retailing group, as the great gap on strength conditions between domestic and foreign companies, the full opening of the retail areas is certain to bring some impact to domestic retailing enterprises and it outstanding performance in managerial idea, scale and pattern etc. Therefore, the research on china’ retailing of how to counter international competition become a very practically meaningful subject.By the analysis of this article of the current conditions of internal retailing companies and foreign competitors’ business modes and the strategy of its entering, And through establish the evaluation indicators systems of our retail competitiveness and analysis the competition to the game between our and foreign commercial enterprises, At last, according to the analysis, in order to face the full opening of retail areas and strengthen the domestic retailing enterprises’ competitive power, we should work well at both microscopic works and macroscopic ones. As far as the former, the government must seriously study and reference from abroad of its retail opening experience, on the basis of this, on the one hand, complete laws and regulations system should be mapped out, including improving the conditions of market access and ways of examination and approval on the foreign investment in the domestic retail areas, and gradually granting them national treatment etc; on the other hand, scientific and reasonable policies of circulation industry should be formulated to further deepen the reform of property system of commercial enterprises, foster commercial groups and strengthen the macroscopic management according to the international usual rules and practices. As far as the later, Considering the advanced business mode and huge capital strength of the foreign retail enterprises, instead of solely depending on the protection of national policy, retail enterprises should adjust marketing strategy, found efficient delivery system, improve commodity and service quality and lower costs, develop and use information technology, create excellent corporation culture, renew our business conception and management so as to enhance our competitive strength and to shorten the gap with foreign companies.By mainly taking qualitative and quantitative methods, exemplification method and comparison analysis method, this thesis conducts a thorough analysis on the general situation of the development of foreign and domestic retailing enterprises in China and the problem existed of China’s retailing enterprises. And through the analysis, this article also calculate the index weight for the retail competitiveness and use the method of economic games, The aim is to find the suggestions and countermeasures of the domestic retail enterprises to seek survive and development in the full opening’s competition. It not only has great social meaning but also has great practical meaning.
