Abstract


Ming style round-backed armchair is a typical form of traditional Chinese furniture,This article summarized the correlation factor of the Ming style round-backed armchair and proposed its own point of view of innovative design about it.This article has induced the development process of Ming style round-backed armchair as well as various times style characteristic;has analyzed commonly used material physical property and the craft characteristic;and based on this,has summarized the structural unit type, summarized the Structure more comprehensively;has analyzed it’s shape,summarized the spot, the line,the body and the space the status and its application spot and locates in;summarized its used decoration dermatoglyphic pattern and sculptured ornament technique,and has induced its carving spot,the carving style characteristic and the beauty of form principle;and has comprehensively summarized the implication in traditional culture thought;Proposed the innovative design viewpoint:regionalizing design path is the fundamental principleAbout the innovative design of Ming style round-backed armchair,each region acts according to own situation to suits own development model,in the innovative design,insisted that the relationship both of form and spirit,the man-machine technology,the humanist principle,creates new round-backed armchair style which with the material diversification,the structure time,the craft and the equipment modernization,the function and the criterion coordinated.
