Abstract


The combination of cartoon and real images opens a new image space. The two elememts are not only a combination of form,but also a complement of more elements. Today, the limits between cartoon films and real images is getting more and more obscure. Studying the common application will greatly improve the information of expression of image. However, cartoon and real image is merely the methods, while limits and defination is also not so important. Both elements have been developing many years in their own areas, the application of being combinaion is a trend of enriching film and image language.The art methods of real images focus on the description of acknowleged object or environment and social life, which is obviously a part of the element of perception and comprehend.It lays particular emphasis on realistically and is lifelike, which means pursuing the perfect of perception form and reality of phenomenon. It also lays particular emphasis on acknowleging object in trend of creation, which comes true the reality. Art language in application most likely adopts the method of writing realistically, contrast, strengthening, etc. Cartoon is not a mechanical reflection of reality and copying reality objectly, but a reflectioin of reality of application of lights, colors, spaces, movements. The art handling of cartoon is not merely the acknowledging,selecting, extracting, machining and transforming, but the meaning lies in objectly and soberly the reflection of intrinsic quality. Correctly combining the real image and cartoon enables the works of images and film to express the content and meaning.
