Purpose : analysis of post-partum bleeding (postpartum hemorrhage) the occurrence of the relevant risk factors discussed measures to prevent and reduce postpartum hemorrhage to reasonable treatment and prevention of postpartum hemorrhage , maternal mortality reduction . Method: January 2006 to December 2007 , 3487 cases in our hospital obstetric delivery maternal clinical data were retrospectively analyzed using the volumetric method to measure the amount of postpartum hemorrhage by dichotomous logistic regression analysis screened with postpartum hemorrhage mainly risk factors , at the same time to further investigate the pre - governance measures . Results: 3487 cases of maternal clinical data , in line with postpartum hemorrhage in 116 cases , accounting for 3.31% . Univariate analysis in l1 significant factors , multivariate analysis , five factors into the multivariate regression model , were arranged by the size of the OR value uterine atony ( OR = 16.248,95 % CI14.306 18.809 ) placenta previa (OR = 11.217,95% CI 8.734 ~ 14.407), placenta accreta , implants , stranded (OR = 3.116,95 % CI, 2.348 to 4.134 ) , huge children (OR = 2.932,95 % CI 2.426 to 3.543 ) , caesarean section ( OR = 1.945,95 % CI, 1.654 to 2.287 ) ( OR value greater the higher risk of postpartum hemorrhage occurred ) . Conclusion: postpartum hemorrhage is the most common and the most critical obstetric complications , a higher incidence (3.31 %) , to strengthen the prevention and treatment of uterine inertia , make family planning to reduce unwanted pregnancies , strictly controlled indications of cesarean section to reduce huge incidence of child plays an important role in reducing postpartum hemorrhage and maternal mortality .
