Abstract

Objective: To analyze using the carpometacarpal side into the the road and wrist radial side of the approach in two different surgical approach to the clinical effect of treatment of scaphoid fractures . Methods: 50 cases of scaphoid fractures qualified patients , open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation combined with autologous old fracture of the radial styloid process or iliac bone graft . Among them , the choice of carpal surgery approach in 27 cases , the selection the wrist radial side of the surgical approach in 23 cases . Postoperative follow-up of patients . Standard , Jiranek scaphoid fracture Response Evaluation Criteria bone fracture healing , compared two different surgical approach to the treatment of scaphoid fractures . Results: The average follow-up of more than eight months , carpal surgical Road, there are 26 cases of bone healing , the wrist radial side of the surgical approach in 18 cases of bone healing . Statistically, the former in fracture healing Jiranek scaphoid fracture efficacy of standard evaluation , no significant difference with the latter . Conclusions: Open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation the old fracture the joint bone graft treatment of scaphoid fractures , carpal into the road and wrist radial side approach treatment effect was no significant difference .
