Abstract

Sevoflurane is a new type of halogen inhalation anesthetics, blood / gas partition coefficient of 0.63 , oil / gas partition coefficient of 42 . It has induced a rapid recovery and light circulatory depression , respiratory irritation , certain muscle relaxants , low solubility , depth of anesthesia is easy to adjust , absorb , and the clear advantages of rapid , it is widely used in clinical anesthesia . Recent years sevoflurane organ protective effects of concern , especially myocardial protection . Experiments confirmed that sevoflurane has a certain degree of myocardial protection and the protection mechanism is similar to ischemic preconditioning : blocking intracellular calcium overload by activation of KATP channels , reduce energy metabolism , reduce the generation of oxygen free radicals ; also by inhibition in neutrophil adhesion and platelet aggregation play a myocardial protective effect . Compared with other inhalation anesthetics , sevoflurane have better hemodynamic stability . Clinical anesthetic concentration of sevoflurane priority to increase the blood flow of coronary collateral vessels , increase coronary reserve , reducing myocardial oxygen consumption and minimal impact on cardiac function , this role is more apparent at high concentrations , has surrounded myocardial protective effects of anesthesia . In addition, the slight sevoflurane cardiac conduction system . So , sevoflurane is more suitable for patients with heart disease . The disadvantage is that can occur when anesthesia should be used with caution in patients with prolonged QT interval syndrome , prolonged QT and Q-Tc . Sevoflurane myocardial cell protection mechanisms and cardiovascular effects .
