Abstract

Quality education is a hot topic of recent years. Many attention more and more music education as essential for quality education: countries make a lot of efforts to promote music education reform, gradually push forward a number of reform measures, the implementation of the new music curriculum music course commencement rate rose steadily ; school music education system continue to improve, and gradually improve the overall quality of the music teacher, the music teaching equipment is getting more sophisticated, increasingly colorful extracurricular music activities; achieved fruitful results in various research activities in music education. However, achieved at the same time, we found that there are some fear in music education reform, take the implementation of the new music course, some people think that the the rural poor conditions can not engage in; Some people think that the three days of facing the test, can not engage in; was evasive social employment system, the college entrance examination system is not a fundamental change, difficult to effectively promote music education; been simply that the examination-oriented education in China has a profound traditional cultural roots, music lessons, dispensable. These ideas are not suited to the development of the times, is a conservative, old ideas behind. Environment quality education, we should be brave in the face of a variety of issues: the goal of music education is not perfect, and encounter resistance to the implementation of the new curriculum, rural schools do not attach importance to music education, school faculty and equipment, and a serious shortage of funds, the research does not on the right track and so on. The existence of these problems hinder our development of basic music education as a whole, it is worth people thinking and concerns. In this paper, using questionnaires, interviews, observation method, more comprehensive and in-depth research on the status quo of Taiyuan music education in primary and secondary schools, by understanding the different levels, different levels of schools offer music lessons, to grasp the real first-hand information comprehensive analysis of of Taiyuan music education in primary and secondary schools of the status quo, and the status quo exist for various reasons, combined with the current country-specific laws and regulations to put forward their views and suggestions, so as to explore the city music education development and means.
