Abstract


Slope stability analysis has been an important subject in the field of geological engineering, which occupy an important position in engineering practice. The main factors which affect the slope stability include the physical and mechanical properties of the slope, the shape and size, working conditions and reinforcement measures of the slope. Jincheng is a mountainous area, a large number of engineering activities in limited areas make a lot of soil vertical slope appear. How to evaluate the stability of the vertical slope of the soil preferably is a thorny issue. The traditional methods of slope stability analysis have made great achievements. The numerical simulation has the advantage of visual fast. However, evaluation of the stability of vertical high soil slope should be further improved. Therefore, combining the traditional method of soil mechanics and numerical simulation of soil would be more suitable for the research of vertical high soil slope.A stability coefficient is obtained in this paper by analyzing the main factors which affect the slope,and calculating the slope stability after selecting three methods commonly used of calculating the slope safety coefficient in traditional soil mechanics——Swedish method, Bishop method, residual thrust method, in the study object of vertical high soil slope of Hong Kong and China Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd. Jincheng of Shanxi coalbed methane liquefaction plant. And then a numerical model which is established by ANSYS, is led into the FLAC3D for numerical simulation. The stability of the slope is determined after analyzing the cloud map and the safety coefficient. The conclusion that the destroyer mode of vertical high soil slope is collapse damage is drawn by combining with the actual situation on-site of the slope. Compared with the traditional method of soil mechanics, the safety coefficient and stability of vertical high soil slope is evaluated. The research achievements provide reference for evaluation of stability of other vertical high soil slope in this area.
