Abstract


Most research on tennis teaching is in progress for some factor.Few people consider the tennis teaching as a whole.In this article,various research methods including investigation,documentation,expert interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis are adopted to examine the current situations of tennis course hold in general universities and colleges of Beijing.This article systematically analyzed the factors,including teacher,student,interpersonal relationship,feedback and teaching environment,that affect the quality of tennis teaching,And the result indicates that:1.Majority of non-specialized tennis teachers are not professional in tennis.Their demonstration is not standard.However,because of students’ cognition to tennis and their weak physical ability,the result indicates that 90%of the students appreciate the skills of non-specialized tennis teachers.2.Most of the students are interested in tennis.Due to lacking of facilities,teaching hours and physical ability,most students’ command of skills are not good enough.3.The relationship between teachers and students in universities and colleges has been improved.But some teachers’ educational views and their character cognition are still wrong.Because teachers’ teaching organizing is not good enough and they hardly know about their students,the relationship between them is rather flat.4.The lesionplanning of tennis teachers are not good enough.Some Leachers don’t prepare enough for their teaching.Besides,they never want to know about their students after class.5.Due to lacking of teaching hours and facilities,teachers can’ t obtain correct and timely feedback,and students also can’ t obtain the evaluation from teachers in time.6.Students don’ t know how to analyze their own movement skill,and teachers hardly give necessary coaching.The feedback among students is not good,too.63.16%of the students never exchange in skills studying.7.Teachers can’ t adopt some teaching methods in class because of the lack of tennis court.It obviously affects students’ enthusiasm for practicing and the relationship between teachers and students.
