Abstract


《The Decision on Deepening Educational Reform and Carrying Forward Quality Education from All Aspects》issued by The State Council of Party Central Committee points out that "The school education should be under the guidance of Health First and strengthen physical education." This is an important direction of future educational reform and the core of physical education at universities."Health First" and "Life Long Physical Education" have become the starting point and the goal of physical education.Combined with their real situation,several colleges and universities have carried on a successful reform of physical education.This is helpful for cultivating students’ interests,habits of doing exercises and conscience of physical education.Generally speaking strengthening students’ constitution is still an important task of physical education at school.In Hebei province,the researches on the situation of undergraduates’ constitution only focus on students at several colleges and universities.Therefore,it is necessary to make a delicate investigation on undergraduates’ constitution in all of the colleges and universities in Hebei province.In this article,after collecting and sorting out the materials by the using the methods of fining documents and materials,investigating and statistics and comparing the results of investigation horizontally and vertically,the author got to know the basic situation of undergraduates’ constitution and analyzed and compared the influences of different teaching methods on students before and after the reform of physical education at colleges and universities of Hebei province. This will provide references for the government functional departments to make the developing plan of physical education at colleges and universities and to guide the physical education at colleges and universities.Main conclusions and suggestions:1.Generally speaking,the constitution of undergraduates at colleges and universities of Hebei province is good.But several indexes of physical function and constitution are lower than the average level of the same age students all over China.2.To establish a data base of constitution test for undergraduates at colleges and universities of Hebei province in order to know the development and variety of undergraduates’ constitution spontaneously.This will provide references for government functional departments to make educational policies.3.To set up new concept of contemporary physical education and to set a goal of lifelong physical education.4.To enhance the knowledge of the schools’ supervisors,to invest more on physical education and to better the teaching environment of physical education.5.To accelerate the establishment of teachers’ team and pay more attention to vocational education.
