Abstract


As Chinese small enterprises are developing from the stage of starting to growing,stead of continue to depending on internal financing,small enterprise starts to look for external finance. However,due to the conditions like information symmetries and financial repression,Chinese small enterprise is depending more on informal finance,thus they need to make financial decisions on which channel to choose.Although this economic decision is rationally made and mainly depends on the objective conditions faced with the enterprise,owner’s values still have a moderating effect on this decision-making process.Hence,it is essential to research the effect that owner’s values exercise on deciding the channels of informal finance.In this way,we will be able to have an overall understanding on the small enterprise’s financial decision-making process.This thesis builds up its theoretical basis on three researching areas:owner’s financial decision, owner’s value and value’s impact on financial decision.This thesis appears to be the first one to connect owner’s value to its decision on informal finance,with contrast to the former researches which solely interpret the financial decision on a rational matter.In this sense,this thesis contributes to the further researches as an explorer.
