Abstract


The global response to climate change has brought increasing pressure on China's social development , China must improve energy efficiency and reduce energy intensity , and actively introduce foreign advanced low-carbon technologies , and to seek institutional and technological innovation . From the theoretical and empirical analysis of the relationship between China's energy consumption and economic growth , greenhouse gas emissions , and that the rapid economic development can promote a large number of energy consumption , greenhouse gas emissions caused tremendous pressure . The city proposed the model of development of low - carbon urban construction and analysis of the existing problems in China 's urban construction and feasibility . Drawn low-carbon urban construction of China 's greenhouse gas emission reduction , sustainable economic development, and enhance the core competitiveness has a positive significance . Therefore , this article topics from theoretical and practical point of view , has a certain academic value and practical significance . The introductory part of the first chapter introduces the research background and significance of research methods and technology roadmap . The second chapter describes the low-carbon economy , low-carbon city development ideas, as well as related theory . The third chapter describes the characteristics of today's world and China 's energy structure . Chapter empirical analysis of China 's energy demand and greenhouse gas emissions . The fifth chapter analysis of the the decoupling relations between economic growth and carbon emissions . The sixth chapter discusses the way for construction of low-carbon city . Chapter VII of the case study is to analyze the problems of low-carbon urban construction in Suzhou , and actively seek countermeasures . Chapter VIII of the main conclusions and recommendations for further research .
