In this paper, Urumqi City of wild plants and cultivated plants as the research object, the use of plant geography, resources botany and Conservation Biology, Urumqi City seed flora composition, families and genera geographical elements, endemism, life forms and ecological type, vegetation type, and value of Urumqi City plant resources, diversity index, invasive plant risk assessment, diversity of comparative law on the the Urumqi City diversity of plants were evaluated.
