Abstract
|
Photocatalytic degradation of actual dye wastewater had been studied by using nanometer-sized TiO2 powder as photocatalyst, which based on analyzing the research status quo at home and abroad. The result proved that this method was feasible to degrade dye wastewater and optimized the reaction conditions. The dye wastewater was degraded by using the nanometer-sized TiO2/quartz sand and glass thin films which were prepared by liquid phase deposition, sol-gel or adhesive processing. The result showed that the effect of degradation by adhesive processing was better. The thin film had high stability and the clearance of CODCr reached 54.55%. The reaction kinetics had been studied by using the nanometer-sized TiO2 powder as photocatalyst. The result showed that the kinetic could be described by Langmuir-Hinshelwood equation. Photocatalytic degradation conformed to one order dynamics equation at low concentration and zero at high concentration.
