Abstract


To protect the safety of drinking water in rural areas is related to the health of rural residents and live a normal life, is an important part of the basic conditions for building a moderately prosperous society, but also a new socialist countryside construction. Tianshui City, located in the northwest inland area, the special geographical environment and water shortages, coupled with man-made water pollution, the more common problem of drinking water in rural areas, severely restricting the improvement of living standards of the poor mountain farmers and rural economic development. Therefore, to carry out the Rural Drinking Water Survey to study the safety of drinking water in rural areas has important significance to improve the city's living environment in rural areas to improve farmers' health, and to promote the sustainable development of the rural economy. In Tianshui City, Rural Drinking Water Survey based on the safety of drinking water in rural areas was evaluated based on the analysis of the insecurity of the rural drinking water, put forward countermeasures to solve the problem of unsafe drinking water in rural areas. Made the following findings: (1) water status and water supply projects in rural counties (districts) in Tianshui City in 2004, a survey, analysis of the survey show that, Tianshui City, rural water supply distributed water supply population 242.28 million, accounting for 80.51 percent of the total rural population, while the population of the centralized water supply was only 58.64 million, or 19.49% of the total rural population; rural drinking water quality standards can be achieved in terms of water quality, centralized water supply water quality, and scattered The water supply there is excessive fluoride content and brackish water. (2) A survey of rural drinking water based on four indicators of rural drinking water safety, water quality, water quantity, water accessibility and water guaranteed rate, Tianshui City, rural drinking water security evaluation. The evaluation results show that: the rural drinking water in the city unsafe population was 165.05 million, accounting for 54.85 percent of the total rural population; drinking water quality substandard population of 113.52 million, accounting for 68.78 percent of the city's rural drinking water unsafe population, water consumption is not compliance population of 20.90 million, accounting for 12.66%, water for ease of substandard population of 21.32 million, accounting for 12.92%, the water guaranteed rate of non-compliance of the population of 9.31 million people, accounting for 5.64%. This shows that the Tianshui City of rural drinking water unsafe biggest problem is the result of substandard water quality. (3) analysis of Tianshui City, rural drinking water insecurity. The analysis results show that: the special geographical environment and hydrogeological conditions, water shortages delayed construction of water supply projects, water pollution and rural drinking water project management system is not perfect, and other factors directly affect the safety of drinking water in rural areas of Tianshui City. Special geographical environment and hydrogeological conditions is mainly due to excessive natural water (high fluoride and brackish water); shortage of water resources and water supply project lag is caused by lack of water, and water to ensure low; while water exacerbated by the deterioration of the water quality of surface water and groundwater pollution. (4) analysis of the factors and unsafe drinking water, based on the evaluation of the safety of drinking water in rural areas of Tianshui City, respectively, from the strengthening of rural drinking water safety awareness, accelerate the construction of water supply projects to strengthen water pollution control and improve rural drinking water project management system proposed protection Tianshui City The recommendations of the rural drinking water safety.
