Abstract


Objective To investigate the targeted biofeedback training methods of treatment effects in children with spina bifida occulta functional constipation (FC) and non- retention, incontinence (NRFI) . 34 cases of FC children and children with 21 cases NRFI conventional conservative treatment , 15 cases of FC children and the nine cases NRFI patients received targeted biofeedback training and electrical nerve stimulation therapy in the conservative therapy in children and the objective function tests to evaluate the therapeutic effect . Results after conservative treatment of 22 cases (40% ) children cured , 5 cases improved markedly . Conservative therapy of 28 patients , 24 patients received targeted biofeedback training and electrical nerve stimulation therapy , 19 cases ( 79.2%) children cured after treatment , significant improvement in the remaining five cases . Conservative therapy the average duration of the group of children (3.1 ± 2.9) years , significantly longer than the conservative treatment of children with group (2.0 ± 1.2) years (p <0.05), objective examination results also show that conservative therapy in children with group reflecting rectal function indicators changed significantly serious conservative treatment is effective in children with group and significantly restored ( p <0.05 ) after treatment indicators for biofeedback training and electrical nerve stimulation . Conclusions for biofeedback training and electrical nerve stimulation therapy is an effective method of treatment combined recessive spina bifida the FC and NRFI children .
