"Huanglian Jiangzhi Soup" Coptis Decoction in Treating Hyperlipidemia Lipid-lowering Clinical Study

Abstract


Objective To observe the heat dampness traditional Chinese medicine compound \The method of using the principle of randomization , 94 patients with hyperlipidemia were divided into a treatment group and control group A and control group B of the three groups . Treatment group of 34 patients , with an average age of 49.51 ± 4.25 years old, Coptis Decoction for treatment ; A control group of 30 patients , with an average age of 50.63 ± 5.41 years old , dampness Huayu Recipe - Erchen Modified treatment ; control group B 30 cases , with an average age of 51.11 ± 5.76 years old, using Western medicine fluvastatin treatment . 12 weeks for a course of treatment . After treatment serum TC , TG , HDL -C , LDL-C , c - reactive protein ( C - reactive protein , CRP ) , arterial elasticity index and blood sugar levels , and to do urine routine , liver and kidney function tests . Results after the end of the 12 - week treatment of all subjects the : ① detect lipid levels found that plasma total cholesterol , low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels significantly lower than before treatment ( P <0.05 ) , x 2 inspection, three groups were no differences (P> 0.05); Coptis Decoction for treatment of plasma triglyceride levels decrease significantly better than the control group A and control group B ( P <0.05 ) . There are different degrees of reduction ② plasma CRP levels than before treatment , especially in the treatment group and the control group B is more obvious (P <0.05) . ③ treatment group and control group B patients with arterial elasticity index ( C 1 < / sub >) was significantly higher than before treatment (P <0.05), while the control after the treatment of patients in group A , the main artery elasticity index ( C < sub> 1 ) raise no significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) . Treatment after three groups of small artery elasticity index (C 2 ) has increased, but not statistically significant ( P > 0.05 ) than before treatment . Conclusion Coptis Decoction for treatment of hyperlipidemia is a safe and effective traditional Chinese medicine .
