Objective : To observe the menstrual cycle , using adjusted weekly soup Xiaocuo clinical efficacy for the treatment of female acne , objective evaluation of its treatment the female acne lesions and accompanied by the effectiveness of the disorder , and to explore the female acne safe , effective , convenient and traditional Chinese medicine prescription and treatment methods , to improve the efficacy and reduce recurrence and improve clinical purpose of accompanying symptoms . Materials and Methods : May 2007 to November 2008 in Hubei Province Hospital of Dermatology outpatient women acne stasis syndrome type who is a liver-fire clinical observation , 80 patients were randomly divided into Xiaocuo Tiu weeks soup treatment group and Tan control group , 40 cases in each group . The treatment group received the Xiaocuo Basic Recipe and regulating drugs , one day , cook 2 times , juice 300ml, 2 times morning and evening hours , warm clothes . The control group was given tanshinone capsules, 3 times a day , after meals . The topical acne net of the two groups at the same time . Eight weeks for a course of treatment, once weekly referral , and followed up for 6 months after treatment is stopped . Observations : acne efficacy compared to treatment group, the total effective rate was 92.5% in the control group, the total effective rate of 90% , between the two groups P > 0.05 , no significant difference in the treatment of women with acne soup group showed that the Xiaocuo tune weeks similar efficacy and tanshinone group . The clinical observation that the recurrence rate in the treatment group than the control group P <0.05 , Description the Xiaocuo tune Zhou soup efficacy and stability , easy rebound . Symptom scores lower rate compare before and after treatment P < 0.01 , very significant with differences ; control group were P > 0.05 , non- significant with differences ; After treatment, comparing P < 0.01 , very significant with differences ; show that Xiaocuo Tiu weeks soup group to improve the TCM symptoms significantly better than tanshinone group . Conclusion: The clinical observation found that female acne and menstrual cycle is closely related to , depending on the menstrual cycle period of yin and yang growth and decline of the natural law , the elective use eliminate acne adjusted weekly soup treatment of female acne , efficacy and stability , not easy rebound , and can significantly with improved TCM symptoms and no toxicity. The author believes that the Xiaocuo tune weeks soup is safe and effective prescription medicine tune week therapy for women acne is a better treatment .
