Abstract


It’s a serious problem that reducing resources in China because of the rapid development of economy. Mining enterprises in China has been in the initial stage of mechanization of labor-intensive for a long time. There are tow problems which always bothering mines are efficiency and safety.This paper increases efficiency and safety of open-pit mining in two ways:ore blending and truck dispatching. Existing ore blending models do not have automatic calculation of mining range functions, and fail to be integrated with GIS system and 3D Visualization model. Truck dispatching model is lack of a judgment criterion whether trucks should queue up for excavator.Based on 3D Visualization model, analyzing problems above with operational model, graph theory, GPS and virtul reality technology, The main achievements of the paper are as follows:(1) Discussed modeling, optimization and realization of software and hardware in the hole course of design and mining of open-pit mines systematically;(2) Proposed a new ore blending model, which key algorithm is CGCM, Circle Geometric Constraint Model, could estimate the distribution automatically, and used in DIMINE software;(3) Proposed a new truck dispatching model, including the best-path optimization system base on DTM model, LP optimization system which accounting transport costing in a new algorithm, and DP optimization system with truck-excavator balance adjusting and queuing judgment;(4) Analyzed the key technologies of hardware parts of truck dispatching system including GPS technology, virtul reality technology and safety collision prevention warning technology of trucks;(5) Proposed method of safty management of trucks in open-pit mine based on experience from mining practice;(6) Validated CGCM ore blending model and DP optimization model by examples from open-pit mines, it can be proved that the models are effective and successful.
