Abstract


With the emergence of humanistic psychology , since the 1860s, since the foreign language educators and researchers began to focus on foreign language learners emotional factors . Numerous studies indicate that many learners emotional factors are interrelated . In all emotional factors , most people think that anxiety is a second language or foreign language learning an obstacle to the most influential factor. This paper will explore the learner is one of the most important individual factors : anxiety . In language learning and teaching process, learner anxiety has been considered a major obstacle to language learning . How to deal with anxiety learners is the world's focus of attention of many educators . This paper mainly discusses the specific conditions and Anxiety in English classroom teachers how to reduce anxiety and improve student achievement . Anxiety is often described as a tension accompanied by the fear of the unknown danger . Anxiety may be the largest language learning affective disorder . Language Learning Anxiety mainly refers to the learners need to use a foreign or second language expressed are not confident because of the expected results arising from fear or anxiety about . Around the world about the emotional factors research has attracted a lot of attention , but for the Chinese environment, students in English class little research on learning anxiety . This paper first reviews the past and present research on anxiety and anxiety problems. Learners produce anxiety for many reasons. Different teaching methods for students to be able to produce different levels of anxiety .
