Abstract


In China IMO is rising, many stake holders in many aspects of the contest conducted in-depth research. Good thinking and methods are emerging, constructive thinking has a very wide range of applications in problem-solving from the proposition to problem-solving . However, the real in-depth study of the system is few. The thorough study is Valuable. In view of this situation, In this paper, conducted a study of constructive way of thinking . The study mainly through the past 30 years of published literature, to the related personnel and own first-hand experience .The full text is divided into five chapters. ChapterⅠThe study analyzed the background, the history and status quo at home and abroad, described the purpose and significance , content and methods. ChapterⅡIntroduced the history and current situation of the IMO . ChapterⅢAnalyzes the relationship between thinking and method, found a construction method for solving the theoretical basis: First, constructivist theory, Second is Polya’s problem-solving thinking. Study the significance, features, function of the construction method, The dialectical relationship between the construction method and the mathematical beauty, the training of the constructive thinking and methods . Understanding of these elements. ChapterⅣIn the use of examples of elementary number theory, algebra, geometry, combinatorics Application to empirical..
