Abstract


With the development of China 's newspaper industry , the same title news in an increasingly competitive title will directly affect the competitiveness of the media . In this paper, Hunan influence and circulation of the four largest newspapers : news headlines the Hunan Daily Changsha Evening News , SanXiang and Xiaoxiang Morning on the same title as the research object , by systemic functional grammar as a theoretical framework , the integrated use of linguistics , the knowledge of Journalism and Communication Studies , with the title of four newspapers news headlines systematic comparison study . The full text includes the following sections: Introduction section introduces the research background , the object of study, research methods and significance , combing the status quo of the current research in the field , the corpus source , and to do a preliminary analysis of corpus . Chapter II describes the theoretical framework of the quantitative research - Halliday 's Functional Grammar , as well as the specific methods of the quantitative research of this article and quantitative analysis of the statistical results . The third chapter from functional grammar concept , interpersonal function and textual function three aspects of the same title news headline comparative analysis . System through a combination of statistical results and concrete examples and detailed studies reveal the functional characteristics of the four media title , the reasons for the formation of the same title news headlines difference . Chapter examine a large number of corpus based on summed up the three outstanding problems that exist in the four newspapers news headlines , and put forward the corresponding countermeasures . This study found that there is a big difference , the same title of the four newspapers news headlines . These differences are the nature of its newspaper , audience targeting many ways to find out why. The same time, there are some problems in the title , and effective measures to be taken by the media to be addressed .
