Abstract


At present, with the mobile communication technology and personal communications technology advances rapidly developing, the wireless communication system, in particular applied to its terminals of its proposed antenna miniaturization, broadband, multi-band, multi-polarization and polarization frequency variable requirements. In recent years, numerous reports of planar inverted-F antenna (Planar Inverted-F Antenna, PIFA) because of its small size, lightweight, very low profile, and ease of processing, and easy to shape and carriers of significant structural features such prominent , coupled with low manufacturing cost characteristics, and thus got a wide range of wireless communications industry universal application. This paper is to study the basic planar PIFA antenna on the basis of theoretical analysis, using commercial electromagnetic simulation software CST Microwave Studio, has designed a compact, low-profile, wide-band PIFA antenna plane, final processing proceeds antenna, the actual test results and theoretical results agree well with theoretical simulation software, fully demonstrated that the designed antenna has practicality. Later analysis of a small, flat wideband WLAN dual-band monopole microstrip antenna, obviously with miniaturization and broadband, low profile, easy processing, very light weight, and easy and carriers conformal and many other advantages. The important work of this thesis and innovation has the following steps: I. planar inverted-F antenna from the various components analysis, a detailed description of the plane PIFA antenna variety of structural forms, detailed description of the plane PIFA The main performance parameters of the antenna, the basic method of analysis. Meanwhile, miniaturization of the microstrip antenna technology, broadband technology and multi-band technology, polarization techniques and technology for the frequency dependent polarization detailed analysis and summary. (2) designed a low profile, small, planar inverted-F antenna, in theory, the bandwidth of the antenna relative to the central reached up to 99%, and can cover a WCDMA, CDMA and other wireless communication system working key bands.
