Abstract


The trade in forest products of China and ASEAN has been paid more and more attention in recent years.And the forest products trade between China and ASEAN will be affected by a variety of effects of FTA in the background of which,that China and ASEAN will establish a free trade area.In the basis of the status of trade in forest products between China and the ten countries of ASEAN,This article makes empirical analysis by using a large number of economic data and RCA and the Trade Complementarity Index Model,and then get some conclusions:Rivalrousness and complementarity of the trade in forest products of China and ASEAN coexist,and now the complementarity is more obvious, so China and ASEAN should make full use of comparative advantage which belongs to each other,and they can exert their potential,have strengthen cooperation,enhance the complementarity,reduce the negative effects of CAFTA,and the ability to withstand external shocks will be improved,at last, mutually beneficial in the forest products trade and forestry industry between China and ASEAN will come ture.
