Abstract


Embroidery and jewelry, decorative beauty of human existing and developing for thousands of years, are all needs to beautify life and human beings developed based on the fundamental need of practicality, and are products when the development of human civilization reached a certain stage. However, in human civilization history for thousands of years, embroidery and jewelry are of their respective development, and they have little common ground: no embroidery crafts and jewelry produced in the same works. The two craft products are different from the materials used, production methods to the finished effect. Now, embroidery and jewelry on the combination of two different directions may try: First, based on embroidery products, the elements obviously with jewelry characteristics, such as the jewelry materials, jewelry techniques already applied into the jewelry production, are combined with the embroidery works; second, the other direction which the research of this paper and I focus on is how to apply the effect of embroidery techniques, decorative features, the volume of space for the performance of subtle ways and means to jewelry design and production.Modern jewelry design not only attaches importance to the appearance and form, but also positively to the development and application of. The two areas, commercial jewelry design and art jewelry design both keep attempting to apply a mass of new materials to work. Particular in the area of art jewelry design, based on the day-to-day needs weakened, more new material was used without hesitate.Embroidery, as a human art have developed for several thousand, cannot be called "new", and the cloth and silk used in embroidery, are also not "new material". But in the field of jewelry design combining the effect of embroidery techniques with jewelry is a new attempt. Embroidery is a of "new material" to the modern jewelry design. The research in this paper is trying to create through this attempt, and the result is very satisfactory. The delicacy of embroidery endows work with richer visual effects, and conveys richer emotional demands.
