Abstract

The profile measured data for the year 1986 Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, National the peat Geological Survey report as the basis for the establishment of peatlands information inquiry system, research and analysis of the spatial and temporal distribution of carbon in the the national peat reserves, and endowed exist peat; typical peatlands across the country to establish the age-depth curve; the the poly carbon model based on the theoretical curve and the measured age-depth curve peatland carbon accumulation, poly carbon parameters, peatland carbon budget, carbon balance analysis, by the method of least squares fitting. The conclusions are as follows: (1) calculated by peatlands information inquiry system of peat reserves of 46.87 × 10 8 t (dried weight), carbon reserves of about 9.52 × 10 8 t. Peat decomposition degree of the South and the North, over the total peat reserves and the distribution pattern of carbon stocks slightly different. (2) the peatland carbon poly carbon of the upper peat the process and the lower part of the peat accumulation process. Peat the process is made of carbon plants fix atmospheric carbon dioxide, converted into carbon-containing biomass and experienced aerobic decomposition, the most carbon decomposition regression atmospheric carbon remaining plant residues transferred to the lower part of the peat layer. Peat accumulation process is the role of anaerobic decomposition of plant debris will be transferred from the peat layer over part of the carbon is converted to carbon dioxide and methane gas, transportation regression atmospheric undecomposed plant residue carbon in long-term preservation in suspected gas to restore the environment in the process. The peat layer significantly reduces the decomposition of plant residues strength, carbon accumulation in peatlands in the temporary exit geological large circulation, and is conducive to the mitigation of climate warming. (3) Ruoergai the Gaoyuan original Longriba peatlands of the Sanjiang Plain Baoqing Dragon peatlands, the Changbaishan Mountains Jinchuan peat lands, the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau Dianchi sea Terrier peatlands carbon budget found that after 5000 years of peat accumulation, the peatland carbon accumulation is still greater than the amount of carbon decomposition showed peat layer carbon revenue greater than expenditures, with 3,293,100 tons of carbon sinks. (4) after 5000 years of accumulation, the northeast region all peat in peatlands accumulation of 531,701,500 tons of carbon, while 205 205 800 t of carbon released into the atmosphere. Press the atmosphere each 1ppmvC equal 2.12GtC (1 GtC = 10 9 tC) and 7.8GtCO 2 calculate the peat released to the carbon in the atmosphere, representing an increase of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration 0.097ppmv; 531 701 500 t of carbon stored in the peat, equivalent to a reduction of the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide 0.251ppmv northeastern region of peat accumulation control atmospheric greenhouse gases rise, slow global warming played a role. (5) After the peatland carbon budget calculations found that carbon accumulation within the of our existing peatland 5000 years 2,050,956,000 tons, carbon can reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration 0.9674ppmv release carbon 726,296,300 tons, representing an increase of The atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide 0.3426ppmv. Carbon dioxide increased from 280ppm to 550ppm, temperatures may increase 1.5 ~ 3.5 ℃, 0.005 to 0.0125 ° C increase in temperature equivalent per ppm of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere in the carbon equivalent of reduce atmospheric temperature 0.0043 ℃.
